What people ask before they nominate
Is it free to nominate?+
Yes. Nominating is completely free, and you can nominate for as many categories as fit.
Will the person I nominate know?+
Yes. They are emailed to let them know they have been nominated, with a link to complete their application, and you receive a confirmation.
Can I nominate myself or my own business?+
Yes. Tick "Self nominate" on the form, or use Find My Award to see which categories fit you.

How are nominations judged?+
An independent panel scores every entry against the criteria for its category. The highest-scoring entries in each category are shortlisted as finalists and invited to the ceremony.
Does it matter how many people nominate the same business?+
Entries are judged on the evidence in the application, not on the number of nominations.
Do I need to write the perfect nomination?+
No. A few honest lines about why they deserve it is enough to start; the nominee completes the application with the detail.
