Women Lifetime Achievement Award
Honouring a career of exceptional contribution, leadership, and lasting influence across an industry
About this category
The Women Lifetime Achievement Award honours a woman whose career has made an exceptional and lasting contribution to her industry, profession or community. It is not about a single year: it recognises a body of work, and the influence that continues through the people and organisations she has shaped.
The recipient will be widely respected for what she has built and how she has built it, and for the doors she has opened for others along the way.
Eligibility
- Open to women with a sustained career of distinction, typically 20 years or more
- Any industry, profession or sector
- Must have made a significant contribution in, or connected to, the UK
- Nominations are usually made by third parties, though self-nominations are accepted
Judging criteria
- Sustained Contribution: impact across a career rather than a single achievement
- Leadership and Influence: shaping an industry, profession or community
- Legacy: organisations, ideas or movements that continue beyond her direct involvement
- Service to Others: mentoring, sponsorship and opening doors for women
