The Outstanding Contribution to Hospitality Award honours an individual whose work over many years has made a lasting mark on hospitality, its people and its standards.
It is presented to somebody whose influence is felt far beyond their own business.
Eligibility
Open to individuals with a long and distinguished career in hospitality, based in or serving the region. Self-nominations and nominations made by others are both welcome.

- Entries are judged on the length and significance of the contribution
- Influence on the industry
- People developed and the respect of peers
Qualitative criteria
- What they set out to achieve, and why it mattered
- How they work with others
- What guests and colleagues say about them
