This category recognises an in-house finance team driving business success. It celebrates teams that go beyond reporting to become true partners to the business: shaping strategy, improving decisions and keeping the organisation on a sound financial footing.
The winner will show strong financial leadership, measurable improvements in how the business is run, and a team that is developing its people and embracing better ways of working.
Eligibility
Open to finance teams within UK-based organisations of any size and sector, with achievements within the last 12 to 24 months. Self-nominations and third-party nominations are both welcome.
Judging criteria
Entries will be judged on the team's contribution to business performance, quality of financial management and reporting, strategic partnership with the wider business, process improvement and use of technology, and development of the team.

- Adoption of new systems and ways of working
- Development and wellbeing of the team

- Cost savings or cash improvements delivered

Additional criteria
Submissions should include examples of the team's impact on the business, supporting figures where they can be shared, and a testimonial from a senior leader. Confidential information will be treated in confidence.
