The Accessible Hospitality Excellence Award celebrates a hospitality business that has made itself truly accessible to disabled guests and those with additional needs.
It rewards real changes to premises, service and training that remove barriers.
Eligibility
Open to hospitality businesses of any type and size, based in or serving the region. Self-nominations and nominations made by others are both welcome.
Judging criteria
Entries are judged on the changes made to premises and service, staff training, guest feedback and how the business consults and involves disabled people.
Qualitative criteria
- Clarity of concept and offer
- Reputation with guests and partners
- Culture and the team behind the business
Metrics
- Revenue and growth
- Guest satisfaction, reviews and repeat business
- Jobs created or retained
Additional criteria
- Include figures for the last one to two years
- Examples of standout work and testimonials from guests or partners
